Who we are
Product Option Inc. is a small independent publishing team based in Chicago. We write long-form consumer reports about the everyday products people buy for comfort, recovery and general wellbeing at home — the sort of purchase that sits in the gap between a gadget and a genuine piece of health equipment.
Our readers tend to arrive at a page after a specific frustration: a neck that will not settle, sleep that keeps getting interrupted, a shoulder that has been complaining since the office moved to the kitchen table. What they want is not a spec sheet. They want to know what a thing actually does, what it does not do, what it costs, and how easy it is to send back.
How we work
We start with the source
Product claims are taken from the manufacturer’s own published material, then stated plainly. If a figure comes from the seller, we say so.
We keep claims measured
Comfort and relief products are described as comfort and relief products. We do not present them as treatments, cures or substitutes for professional care.
We disclose the money
Where a page carries an affiliate link, a disclosure appears on that page. It never changes what we write, and it never changes the price you pay.
We revisit pages
Prices, bundles and return windows move. When a retailer changes an offer we update the page or take it down rather than leave a stale number in place.
What we publish
Some of our pages are editorial reviews. Others, clearly marked at the top, are advertorials — commercial content written by us on behalf of, or in partnership with, a brand. In either case the same rules apply: accurate product facts, measured language, visible disclosure, and no invented statistics or celebrity endorsements.
We do not manufacture or sell any of the products we cover. Orders, payments, shipping, warranties and refunds are handled entirely by the retailer whose store the buy links lead to.
